Bantam Gold
The Jr Warriors Bantam Gold took home the first win of the weekend against rival Roxbury in a late game Friday night at Mennen.
Roxbury started off with the game’s first goal at just 9:57 into the period and it was the Warriors Severyn Khomak (Watchung) who answered with a pass off Paulie Marino (Stirling.) Roxbury scored early in the second period to take a 2-1 lead going into the third.
Pete DaSilva (Greenbrook) kicked off the third period with a corner shot and assist from Daniel Gallant (Stirling). Just two minutes later the Warriors Orestes Antippas (Summit) scored off a pass from Paulie Marino. Goalie Andrew Martin held tight in net to keep the score at 3-2 and take home a win for the Warriors.

PeeWees
The PeeWee Warriors had a tough loss Saturday in their first game against Roxbury. This young team played hard through their 6-0 loss.
Bantam Black
Warriors Bantam Black took home their second win, taking on the Wolfpack early Saturday morning.
The Warriors dominated the first period with two goals by Julian Jogelkar (Warren), the first assisted by Lucas Rowman (Bridgewater ).
The Wolfpack answered early in the 2nd to make it a 2-1 game, but the Warriors came back with just 1:33 left in the second with an unassisted goal by Jacob Fullman (Millington).
Once again, the Wolfpack came strong to the period and kicked off the third with a goal, it took only four minutes for the Warriors to respond with an unassisted goal from Daniel Adams (Bedminster), making it a 4-2 game Warriors. Sammy Lopes (Millington) finished the game with an assist of Julian Jogelkar (Warren) to finish the game 5-2 Warriors.

Squirts
While the Bantams played on Mennen’s Rink 1, the Squirts were battling it out on Rink 2 also against the Wolfpack. This young team fought hard and matched the Wolfpack shot for shot, but struggled to get one in.
With a score of 4-0, Wolfpack in the third period things looked grim, but the Warriors refused to let up and with just three minutes left in the game put in their first goal. Patrick Linden (Gillette) put it in the back of the net, assisted by Sawyer Landau (Warren). Less than a minute later, the teammates switched places with Sawyer Landau putting in a rebound off Patrick Linden, making it a 4-2 game. One minute later, Holden Flynn (Gillette) took the rebound shot off Owen Devine (Gillette).
With only a minute left in the game, the Warriors inspiring comeback ended in a 4-3 loss.

Mites
Our young Mites finished the weekend of Warriors games with a 7-5 win over a young Denville team. Goalie Ben Carr (Warren) held strong in net.
